Tap at Náplavka. Musty full yellow-golden body, lasting off-white head. Citric, bit coconutty soft hoppy aroma. Lime and herbal notes in the taste, dank, coconut touches - stratalusish, and yet - with Czech hops! The growing and growing bitterness slightly lowers drinkability bringing the score somewhat down - really respect this one though!

Tap at Pivo na Náplavce 2023. Slightly hazy orange-amber body, off-white head. Light clean smokey aroma backed with a clean matly presence. Soft taste, smoked meat notes, clean, light prickly carbonation. Quite nice!

Tap at Pivo na Náplavce 2023. Blackish body, off-white head. Caramel, light roast and some light cocoa in the pleasant aroma. Nice, light taste, soft chocolatey notes. Simple, not as thrilling as some, but almost exactly as it should be!

Draught at Pivo na Náplavce 2023. Cloudy, copper colored. AROMA- toasted malts, caramel, earthy, plums. FLAVOR- creamy, lightly sweet, lightly bitter, caramel, pale plums, plums, earthy. Medium bodied. Not really dark, let's say Brown lager. Good.

Tap at Na Farmě. Hazy golden body, thick white head. Fresh aroma, herbal hops, grainy, white bread-like maltiness, on point. Maybe vague DMS. Oh wow... Medium to light creamy body ending slightly and perfectly balanced, dry and bitterish, soft bready maltiness, soft herbal hoppiness, soft light bitterness. This is the classic generic Czech pils brought near perfection, nothing stands out, all is in tune, and you definitely can draw out more of the style with different hops probably, but this is superb for what it is!

Das Bier wird nur zu Weihnachten gebraut. Die Flocken in der Brühe wirken nicht besonders einladend, aber im Geschmack ist es OK.

Getrunken zu Neujahr 2013
Sollte man einen Ausflug nach Prag mit einem ungewöhnlichen Erlebnis verknüpfen wollen, so kann man gerne die Schulbrauerei der dortigen Universität für Agrarwissenschaften besuchen. Der altgediente Braumeister und Professor hat in seiner Karriere bereits mehrere Brauereien gebaut und ist gerne bereit auch Gästen seine Schulanlage zu zeigen -auch auf Deutsch. Das Bier selbst schmeckt sehr gut und ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und man kann sicher sein, dass man es nur hier erhält.
