Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 11/10/2018. Amber in colour, with a slight, white, head. Leafy hops, hedgerow fruits, dense and sweet malts and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

16th Oct 2018. 3rd of a pint in my local Wetherspoon (William Withering, Wellington Shropshire). Clean amber body, off-white crown of foam. Malty front to the nose and taste, fruity and semi-sweet in the middle and semi-bitter in the finish. Nice.

16/10/2018. Cask at the Captain Noel Newton, Oakham. Pours amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, fruit, biscuit and flowers. Medium sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask @ White Hart, Todmorden. Clear copper-amber with a creamy head. It's a bitter with a lowish bitterness. It's very light but has a decent bubble-gum sweetness kick amongst tasty smooth malts.

Pours an almost clear deep amber colour with a frothy off white head. Aroma is malt and lots of caramel, some earthy hops. Caramel malt taste, quite dry in the mouth, orange peel and an earthy hop bitterness.

Pours a clear light amber colour with a small frothy off white head. Aroma is a sweetish, bready, and dried fruit. A moderately sweet taste, caramel and some fruity flavours. A spicy hop bitterness with more sweetness in the finish.
