At the source: dark brown with beige head. Aroma is roasted malts and stale coffee. Taste is coffee, hints of chocolate. Not too sweet. Kind of boring and watery.
At the source: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is lightly grassy with sugar. Taste is very lightly bitter and kind of sweet with a sweet aftertaste. not good.
100ml sample at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Aroma of tropical fruit and pine. Taste is the same. Good one, but now that craft has taken off in Russia it is pretty easy to find better APAs.
100ml sample at the brewpub. Served warm for some reason. Pours dark yellow with no head. Weak aroma of spices - coriander mainly, and some citrus. Taste is slightly bitter with citrus notes. Not what I would expect from a beer labelled as a strong Belgian ale.
100ml sample at the brewpub. Pours hazy yellow with an off-white head. Aroma of bananas, citrus, wheat. Taste is mainly citrus. Low carbonation. Would buy this one again.
100ml sample at the brewpub. Pours gold with a white head. Malty aroma. Taste is bready and malty, with a long bitter finish. Not very fresh tasting, in fact I got the impression that it was rather old.
On tap. Amber color with good head. Aroma: good malt, coffee and anise, wine and grassy. Taste: coffee, a little wild cherry, malt, sweet fruits, spices and a little anise, pepper, warming, with pleasant hop bitterness.
