Description
Our brewery started life up in Morpeth, Northumberland, back in 2012. One name change later, we settled on being called Anarchy Brew Co. and started brewing our core beers, packed with flavour that we still make today (Blonde Star and Citra Star). After running out of room at the old site, we decided we needed somewhere bigger. And in October we moved to new digs in Newcastle upon Tyne, where you’ll find us today. The new Anarchy brewery opened its doors in October 2018 in Walkergate, with the added bonus of our new taproom.

Deep amber color, medium-sized steady beige head, some lace. Resiny-yeasty aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish caramalt and tropical fruity flavor with some pine bitterness. Tasty although quite typical new wave amber ale.

Bottle 330ml ( AbM) Hazy orange color, small off-white head, lace. Aroma has citrus, watermelon, fruity yeastyness. Light-bodied. Flavor has evident citrus from Citra. A bit messy as beer has quite a lot of yeast. Watery and a bit too simple overall.

Golden-copper color, small but steady white head. Aroma has only light maltyness and fruity alcoholic kick. Medium-bodied. Sweet, a bit candy-like. Has apples, strawberry. Lowish bitterness. Light alcohol. Somewhat interesting as not many of these (in craft scene) from England.
