Description
Our brewery started life up in Morpeth, Northumberland, back in 2012. One name change later, we settled on being called Anarchy Brew Co. and started brewing our core beers, packed with flavour that we still make today (Blonde Star and Citra Star). After running out of room at the old site, we decided we needed somewhere bigger. And in October we moved to new digs in Newcastle upon Tyne, where you’ll find us today. The new Anarchy brewery opened its doors in October 2018 in Walkergate, with the added bonus of our new taproom.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham/Grumbo, 09/03/23. Hazed amber with an off white cap that veers edgewards. Nose is orange zest, bubblegum, pine nip, caramel, fruit rinds, pineapple. Taste comprises bitter sweet tropical fruits, hint of mango, sweet malts, sticky tropical fruit punch. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with resinous hop bitterness allied to a balanced rising boost. Its okay if lacking a little in the flavour profile ... sips easy for 10%.

Very good greige head over jet-black beer. Nuts, meatroast, grainy, roasted nuts, ketjap, deepfrying oil, pastrycrust. Sweet, again quite malty, mild (meat)roast, hint at mineral, faint oakleaf. Obviously very well-bodied, viscous, alcoholheat. Velvety texture. Good, if rather sweet for an unadulterated (tonka-ed, vanilla-ed, marshmallow-ed,...) stout.
