Description
Our brewery started life up in Morpeth, Northumberland, back in 2012. One name change later, we settled on being called Anarchy Brew Co. and started brewing our core beers, packed with flavour that we still make today (Blonde Star and Citra Star). After running out of room at the old site, we decided we needed somewhere bigger. And in October we moved to new digs in Newcastle upon Tyne, where you’ll find us today. The new Anarchy brewery opened its doors in October 2018 in Walkergate, with the added bonus of our new taproom.

Smell of raw fruit. Cloudy amber colour, white head. Aroma of overripe fruit, some vinegar-y flavour (sabro?), also some raw fruit. Sort of bitter, also boozy sweet. Lively carbon.

(Can, 0.44 l - BBE 09/2021, from Alko, 20210225) The beer poured pale orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grapefruit, floralness and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were floralness, gr9, herbalness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was herbal, fruity and bitter. A too herbal hoppy brew. The ABV was rather well hidden.

44 cl can @ home, BBE 09/2021 Aroma has soapy notes, grapefruit and some fruit juice. Flavour has grapefruit, odd ashy hops, herbal vibes and grass. Unusual and herbal IPA, not my thing.
