Bottle. Sweet banana and very wheaty aroma. Dark tan and orange color - cloudy with decent head. Sweet light banana and wheat flavor with some sourness - on the weak side without a lot of body. Okay but not great.

Dark amber color, small head. Strong honey aroma, and some caramel. The flavor is mellow, sweet caramel and no bitterness. A dull beer now, but not completely spoiled; it was just an experience.

Hazy amber color. Sweetish aroma. Quite simple, not enough hoppy, a lot of caramel. More bitter towards the end.

Bottle. Bread malt with fairly strong tannin aroma. Dark reddish color with small head. Balanced malt and tannic flavor - not too astringent - very pleasant. A very enjoyable bock.

Nut brown, not much head. Hoppy lemon nose. Malty, barley flavor, dry woody mouthfeel and aftertaste. Light alcohol kick in the beginning. Some similarities to East European strong lagers in the palate.

(Bottle 50 cl) Golden, clear, not much of a head. Very soft, lots of sweet malt, good quality hops and a limited bitterness. 050305

Dark amber colour, huge white head and everlasting lacing. Soft roasted malt in the pretty weak aroma. Taste consists of roasted malt and a bit of chocolate in the finish. Very wellbalanced.

Würzig und malzig präsentiert sich dieses Bier. Das erste Schwarzbier, das mir wirklich schmeckt. Im Nachgeschmack kommt eine herrliche herbe Note dazu, genau passend. Kann man getrost weiterempfehlen! Test vom 9.3.2005, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,8,9,10,11,10 - 9,60

A light orange beer with a huge white head. The aroam is sweet hoppy with notes of straw and perfume. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, caramel, and some alcohol. I can’t really find the kick in this one.

Dark brown. Malt aroma, sweet. Flavor is very sweet. No alcohol in the flavor. Carmel, malt, sugar, campfire. Not as good as Celebrator, but an excellent bock.

An opaque brown beer with a nice brown head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by banana. The flavor is of wheat and with slight notes of roasted malt and banana.
