Bottle. Xmas gift off the missus. Mitchell’s Wines. Muddy amber. Dirty white foam. Not much to write home about here. Spicy and big on the clove like yeast. Pretty sweet overall and noticeably thin.

Bottle online from Raynville Superstore. Pours a murky muddy orange colour with a large thick foamy white head. Aromas of bananas, cloves, caramel and a little peppery spice. Taste is the same notes as detected in the aroma. Medium body with fairly lively carbonation. Decent Weissbier.

Bottle from Gabriel/Erzengel. Danke. A real maltiness in with the clove and banana you'd expect. Cloudy dark amber. Thick foamy white head. Light bitter before a wave of sweet banana puree sweeps through. Sour edge. Herbs prevalent into the finish. Medium. Slick verging on creamy. Flat-average carbonation. Slightly astringent finish. Nice enough here. I guess malts and herbs give it some wintery warmth.

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before June 2020. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of wheat, some banana and a touch of clove. Moderately sweet, malty, gently yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity taste of wheat, some banana and a touch of clove, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and a little chalky finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Solid Weizen, unspectacular, a bit anaemic.

(Bottle, 0.5 l, from Alko, 20170128) The beer poured muddy orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, clove and caramel. Palate was surprisingly light bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, clove, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was watery and thinly bitter. Aroma was good but the taste was a disappointment.

Schöne frische Nelkennase, leicht dunkel, stabiler Schaum. Im Trunk bitter, malzig, hinten leichte Süße, Karamell. Lecker Ding!
