Fresh hop nose. Light golden, foamy head. Nice hop profile, good bitterness and some aromahops. Solid body sparkly mouthfeel and a lingering note of aromahops. Better than expected. My father tells me it wan’t as god last time he tried it,so freshness might be an issue.

Pours a almost dark red with a big white head. Aroma is kind of nutty with some smokyness in there. Flavor is malty and nutty carmel but also very thin, watery and bland. Its ok, very drinkable and smooth.

Pour is a deep red with almost no head. Aroma is malty and berry. Mouthfeel is thick and syurpy. Flavor is malts ,malts and more malts. Very heavy brew with a ton of malt. Also alcohol is there in a big way. Deffinatly good for sipping slow.

An orange beer with an off-white head. The aroma only contains hints of wheat - surprisingly. The flavor is malty with notes of caramel as well as a dry wheaty background.

A yellow beer with a nice off-white head. The aroma is slightly hoppy and slightly malty. The flavor is malty with hints of wheat?!? and the body is thin. Boring.

An orange beer with a huge white head. The aroma is of straw and yeast on a sweet background. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, hops, caramel, and hints of licorice, but the body is thin. An average pils.

Bottle. Light banana/clove aroma. Tan color - cloudy with ample, lasting head. Full wheat malt flavor with lighter fruit and spice notes (banana, raspberry, clove). Nice but would like more body and flavor.

Bottle. An extremely strong coffee malt aroma - smells more like a straight dunkel than a dunkelweizen. Dark coffee brown - completely opaque. Strong smoky coffee malt flavor as well - very little bitterness yet very little flavor that suggests a Weizen. I have to give this top ratings - this isn’t just a dark Hefeweizen as is so often the case - this is exactly what I think a dunkelweizen should taste like - strong smoky malt flavors with the smoothness of a Weizen. Consider this the best dunkelweizen I have ever had.
