Backlog February 2009. Clear reddish amber body under a dense beige head. Strong aroma of caramel malt. Taste is sweet caramel malt, some bitterness and relatively light bodied for the style. Fair enough.

Flaska från Bierothek. Klar gyllengul vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Maltsöt och lite mjölig. Smak av säd, bröd och honung, medelstor höig beska. Rustik, och rejäl och lite enkelspårig. Ok

Klare goldgelbe Farbe; gemischtporige, stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase etwas grasiger Hopfen, frisch, hellmalzig. Im Geschmack helles Malz, mittlere Bittere, etwas grasiger Hopfen, relativ trocken mit etwas Süße, schlanker Körper. Insgesamt einfach, aber solide.

Very good, dense, light cream-coloured head over veiled amber beer. Herb, but also brown candi sugar, sweet brown bread, very malty; parsley, dried leaves. Quite less sugary, almost fresh bready flavour, again with light-coloured malts, dried leaves returning, but also some noble contintental hops. Somewhat chewy, good carbonation, medium bodied, slick. Aftertaste has a bitterness as from horsechestnut. Not bad, convincing unfiltered amber. Txs to Stef!

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear copper/amber pour, two finger soapy white head, short lasting, minimal lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, caramel malt, bread, light spice.
Light to medium body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, silky, easily drinkable. Balanced taste, sweet with mild bitterness in the background. Aroma of caramel malt, lightly toasted, bread, grains. Mild spice, light grassy. Medium lasting finish, lingering bitterness.
Good.
