Description
Davy produced his first cider using skills he learned while making wine with his father, Jim, many years before. Two years later, his Strawberry Cider won the Gold Award at the National Irish Food Awards.

Davy has picked up a National Award every year for each style he has presented. He has now upscaled and moved his cidery to the heartland of Armagh – the Orchard County.

It is here that Tempted Cider was born.

On cask at SRAF. Appearance - deep amber red. Nose - strawberry sauce. Taste - strawberry sauce in fact fresh strawberry too. Palate - light bodied with a tangy texture. Dry but elegant tangy finish. Overall - this is good.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Pale golden cider. Not as dry as expected, given there’s also a medium-dry version of this cider, with a good light to medium apple taste.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Clear pale golden cider. More apple than elderflower, but this is an influence of the latter with a light floral dryness. The apple is medium-sweet as well as aromatic.

Bottle from Booths, Media City. Clear orange coloured with a carbonation. There’s plenty of apple to be found, and its quite sweet too - the strawberry is minimal. It’s still a pretty good cider though.

Box @ Cuthbert Brodrick, Leeds. Dishwater-golden coloured Has a good sweetness in what is also a dry tasting cider. Light textured and easy drinking. There’s plenty of aroma.

Pours a slightly hazy pale gold colour with a pleasant stewed apple aroma. Sweet fruity apple flavour with a hint of spice and a clean crisp finish.

Bag in a box at County Hotel Ashford JDW. Clear gold slight haze. Some apple juice but some cider tannin as well which adds character. Not too sweet. I’ve had a lot worse. It’s an ok slightly characterful sweet cider.
