330ml bottle @ Hippodrome Vincennes. Pours a misty golden yellow, good white head. Aroma is bready malt, faint sweet doughy yeast. Taste is fairly light, sessionable, not a huge amount going on, soft bready malt, light peppery hop, but generally balanced and well rounded. Certainly better than a demi pression of Heineken.

Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours brown with a light tan head. Aroma is malty with a possible smoke note. Med body or so. Flavor has some chocolate, some semi-dark malt, possible coffee, possible touch of smoke. Not very dry; not too bitter. Unexpectedly tasty tho.

Bottle from the Republique Monoprix. Pours hazy coppery gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is fruit and floral. Med body, almost. Flavor is much like an English bitter, but perhaps a bit more earthy. Decent drink. Fairly dry, and fairly bitter.

Label indicates "pale ale", Bierce de Garde, and real ale (re-fermentee in bouteille). Bottle from the Republique Monoprix. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Aroma is very light fruit to include citrus. Near med body. Flavors aren’t bad; it’s a little towards dry; it’s somewhat bitter. Pretty good for a blonde.

33cl Bottle at De Fabriek. Hazy deep amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of nuts, caramel, toast, yeast, fruity, light spicy. Flavour is medium sweet, honey (honingbeertjesdrop), toast, caramel, yeast, light fruity, bitter grassy finish, hint of citrus. Light bodied. Decent and certainly not as sweet as the usual French amber beer.

Bottle shared at the big Dave tasting at craft beer Co Islington. Many thanks to Daniel for this one. Translucent dark orange coloured pour with a a frothy off white head. Aroma is spicy citrus, orange marmalade, woody, wheat, doughy. Flavour is composed of wheaty, grainy, spicy citrus, orange rind. . Bread. Little mint. .
