At the Pibar, Lausanne. It is one interesting beer, not really an English porter, sour, mineral, roasted malt, rasberry, seaweed, not bad, 10.05.17

Not a surprise from this small and quality brewery, the perfect meaning of what it is a pale ale on the American way, light and subtle, classical, floral and aromatic, dry malt, a bit herbal, citrus, light, delightful after a walk in the area of the jorat, 18.11.22

Sharing this beer with Raoul, drinking a solid pale ale, a bit sour at the beginning but after you get a full aroma of dry malt, solid bitterness and citrusness, side of peach and passion fruit, good quality of hop, serious brewery, 22.04.22, at the trois 4, Lausanne, or ex pibar.

At the Pibar, it is a solid IPA, the carbonation could be a bit higher, solid hop and bitterness, the rye is discreet, at the final.l, 10.05.17

Dark brown colour, practically no head, only some ecru lacing; aroma and taste of dried plum and cherry, cognac, grape, dark chocolate and burnt woody notes; well as tasted right after a prairie masterpiece, it has no chance to be rated as a good imperial stout...but objectively, it is not a good one...not bad, but somehow 'empty' 8 2 7 3 14

Bottle at Fierce's 1st bottle share! Tipple would be proud. It pours cloudy deep brown with a small beige head. The aroma is earthy, sweet, sticky, rummy, dark fruits, fruit cake, vanilla, toasted coconut and earth. The taste is bitter - sweet, spicy, dark fruits, cakey, juicy, leather, raisin, date, caramel, toffee, pecan, spice, vanilla and some wood. Boozy finish. Medium to full body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Fun stuff.

At CBFZ 2018. Pours unclear amber. Aroma is dried tropical fruit, a bit dusty, grassy hop pellets. Body is medium, sweet and a bit oily, but mostly bitter, low carbonation. Lingering fruity palate. All not bad, but not coming together either.

At CBFZ 2018. Pours darkest brown. Aroma is booze, wet damp cellar, vanilla. Body is heavy and strong, super boozy and bitter and burnt, little raisins, rough and edgy. Not great. Brewer agreed that this version was not as good as previous batches, though.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Hazy nut brown, mid sized head. Caramelly nose with some salty licorice. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Salmiak and caramel, treacle and grapefruit peels. Warming very bitter finish.

Bottle, thanks to DerA! Pours cloudy amber with a huge white head. Aroma is mango, passion fruit, pineapple, pine trees. Body is medium, quite sweet and really bitter, with a strong lively (over)carbonation. Fruity flavours over a strong malt backbone, little resin and honey. Sweet carbonation palate, lingering long on pineapple sweetness. A bit overdone on that side, otherwise a good classic IPA.
