Cask at Shilling. It pours clear dark brown with a medium, foamy white head. The aroma is toasted nut, brown bread, rivita, toasty, toffee, earth and leather. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, quite mellow, dried fruits, plum, brown bread with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Soft and fruity. Not bad, if a touch flat.

Keg at Shilling. It pours black with a decent off-white head. The aroma is toasted malt, umami, some sweet toasted coconut, earth, coffee grounds and cacao nibs. The taste is dry, bitter, rich roasted malt, earthy, coffee grounds, slightly charred, soft coconut sweetness and cacao with a drying, roasted finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Coconut is well judged. Nice.
