(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a fluffy, almost white foamy had. Sweet malty, slightly toasted aroma with notes of honey and caramel, also some sweat-like, barnyard impressions. Medium-sweet flavour, medium bodied with a rather soft carbonation. Good malty base, honey-ish fruity taste witn light notes of caramel; medium-dry, malty finish with a light hoppy bitterness. Solid Franconian quality brew.

(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a big foamy white head. Yeasty, medium-sweet wheat-malty aroma with light fruity notes of banana. Slightly sweet flavour with a shy acidity, light to medium bodied with a moderate, almost crispy carbonation. Wheat-malty taste with notes of banana and a faint touch of citrus; medium-sweet, slightly fruity finish with a bit sharp yeasty bitterness. Still a decent Weizen.

Bottle: Distinctive fruity and "wooden" herbal hoppy nose; deep golden to light amber coloured, mid-sized, creamy, but quickly diminishing off-white foam; moderate bitter, a bit sweetish flavour; light to medium bodied; dryish, bitter aromatic finish. A pleasant, well quaffable Festbier with the typical Hebendanz character........

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, orangey golden with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. Medium-bodied with distinct accents of caramel malt and something that appears like Bier Brand! Quite alcoholic and quite hoppy. I find it hard to believe, that this is only 5.3% alcohol. Quite unique. 121106

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep golden with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Medium body, sweet notes of pilsener malt and some floral touches. The bitterness is almost absent which appears to be the house character of the Hebendanz beers. 121106
