Bottle: Distinctive fruity and "wooden" herbal hoppy nose; deep golden to light amber coloured, mid-sized, creamy, but quickly diminishing off-white foam; moderate bitter, a bit sweetish flavour; light to medium bodied; dryish, bitter aromatic finish. A pleasant, well quaffable Festbier with the typical Hebendanz character........

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Soft, malty aroma with a lightly floral touch. Light-bodied but not watery as such. Decent malt base with a subdued hoppiness. Decent for the style. 121106

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, orangey golden with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel and alcohol. Medium-bodied with distinct accents of caramel malt and something that appears like Bier Brand! Quite alcoholic and quite hoppy. I find it hard to believe, that this is only 5.3% alcohol. Quite unique. 121106

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, orangey brown with an off-white head leaving laces. Lightly sweet aroma of roasted malt. Medium-odied with roasted notes of malt and a dry, hoppy finish. The best Hebendanz so far. 121106

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, deep golden with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Medium body, sweet notes of pilsener malt and some floral touches. The bitterness is almost absent which appears to be the house character of the Hebendanz beers. 121106

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy orangey brown with a handsome, off-white head. Caramel aroma. Medium-bodied, lightly flat with a distinct sweet - almost nougatish - caramel flavour. Very soft mouthfeel and only hints of hops in the finish. 121106

(On tap) Clear, deep golden with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Medium-bodied with distinct, sweet malt not completely balanced by the hops. But pleasant indeed. 121106

An orange beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is quite citrusy hoppy with a light malty note lying in the back ground. The flavor is sweet malty with a citrusy hoppy note, making it quite fresh, leading to a lghtly bitter end. But the body is very thin. A very flavorful light beer.

A slightly hazy pale orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is quite fruity with light notes of caramel and hops. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of alcohol, fruity, and flowery hops, leading to a dry bitter, and slight alcoholic end.
