Bottled. A light golden beer with a white head. THe aroma is sweet and dominated by lemon, and so is the flavor - too much lemon for my liking.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear deep golden with a tall and lively off-white head leaving some laces. Clean, sweetish malty nose. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel and a very clean malt base. Discreet bitterness. Solid German craftmanship. 050608

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Clear yellowish with a tall and lively, very white shaving foam-style head leaving laces. Weird perfumy aroma - not very citrusy. Light in body, sweetish with artificial citrus notes and a lightly astringent, chemical finish. 050608

The bottle looks not really good. The beer in the glass is okay. Smells terrible sourish. And it tastes the same. Sourish and fermented, finish much too malty. Not a good beer.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a big, fluffy white foam, that leaves lacing legs. Moderately sweet malty, slightly sour-fruity aroma with notes of lemon and a mild herbal, slightly flowery hoppy touch. Bitter flavour, almost medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Well-balanced malty and herbal hoppy taste, that gets a bit papery towards the finish. All in all a good example of the category.

bottle, thank you MoritzF! Labelled Annafestbier. Amber colour, small head. Malty, fruity-hoppy aroma. Fruity start with hints of apple and lemon, malty, quite hoppy in the finish. Long aftertaste with pleasantly bitter hop-flavours.
