Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is sweetish malt with grain, lightly floral, a hint of ripe fruit and a little alcohol. Flavour is sweetish with a light bitterness. Body is medium. Competent sweetish Heller Bock.

Bottle at Café Brecht, Amsterdam. Sweeter than I expected with an aroma of honey, caramel, a buttery touch. On the sweet side, light bitter. A bit rustic, very Franconian. Medium body. Not your typical Lager.

500 ml bottle as Annafest Bier. Slightly unclear with a foamy head. Caramel, toffee, candy sugar, dry citrus notes, metal. Malty sweetness, hints of metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, dry malty sweet finish. Decent Festbier.

Maß at the Annafest. Dark amber body, off-white head. Dry, caramelly, herbal aroma. Dryyy malty, caramelly, bit herbal taste. Drinkable, dry, inoffensive. What it should be, I guess!
