500ml bottle. Opalescent, amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy, minimaly spicy, malty aroma, a touch of caramel and brioche, doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally grainy and spicy, caramel malty and slightly bitter, grassy and minimally metallic hoppy. Dissolved sugar enriched, water texture, slightly dry palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Rather simple and monotonous, relatively bitter hoppy - meh!

Eine gute Menge Hefe die da am Flaschenboden klebt und die es erst mal gilt ausgeschüttelt zu werden. Das Bier hat eine tolle Trübung und eine gute, cremige Schaumentwicklung. Auch das altertümlich gestaltete Etikett gefällt mir. Optisch alles richtig gemacht. In der Nase hat man einen Hauch aromatische Quitte und ganz minimale Spuren von Flieder. Geschmacklich haben wir noch nicht ganz reifes Getreide, etwas Birne und Apfel, Hefe und eine Blumenwiese an einem tauigen Sommermorgen. Anfangs hat man noch eine leichte Eisennote, aber die verfliegt nach 3 Schlucken. Ein Hauch von Vanillezucker (Moravius hat das gut erkannt - ich konnte zuerst nicht direkt den Finger auf diese Note legen) fliegt im Hintergrund kurz vorbei. Insgesamt ist das Bier aber eher auf der säuerlichen / säurebetonten Seite. Ein recht anständig gemachtes Weißbier.

Dunkles braun im Glas, kaum Schaum, in der Nase malzig, im Trunk ebenso, leicht röstig, könnte deutlich kräftiger im Geschmack sein, okay.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear golden amber with a foamy head. Diacetyl, caramel, honey, vanilla, hazelnut, dry lemon zest. Malty sweetness, dry bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, dry caramel sweet finish. Tasty rustic Franconian Amber / Märzen beer.

Optisch klares Gold, zügige Perlen, kaum Schaum. In der Nase schön schrotig. Im Trunk ebenso kernig, Getreide, crispy, süffig süß, passt.

Bottle @ Hallerndorf/Neuhaus Rewe. Pours Dark copper with a small White head. Caramel malty. Toasted. Whiff of fruit and grains. Super smooth and dry. Bitter finish. Excellent.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear dark golden with a foamy head. Malty, grainy, shy hops, light citrus and bread, metallic. Dry bitterness, grainy sweetness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, malty grainy metallic finish. A bit bland and dull, not the Franconian quality there.

Starker Fritz aus dem Hause Hebendanz, Flasche (MHD: 22.09.23) von REWE, Forchheim-Reuth. - Kupferbraun, klar. - In der Nase leicht abgestandenes, matt karamelsüßes Malz und milde hopfenwürzige Hopfung. - Antrunk tief gerstig-karamelmalzig mit schöner Honigsüße, etwas Trockenobst, zarter Säure und leider auch deutlichen Altersnoten, die die gefällige fränkische Hopfung in den Hintergrund drängen. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang dominiert immer noch das Karamelmalz, bei allzu milder Hopfenherbe. - Stark malzbetontes, schön süßes aber schon spürbar gealtertes Festbier. Hebendanz-Biere altern schnell; das mußte ich sogar beim Bock feststellen. (7.9.2023.)

0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Clear dark golden in the glass, one finger white foamy head. Looks good. Low grainy aroma. Taste is smooth grainy with caramel, little bit spicy, hints of apples and honey in the background. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Easy drinker. Okay.
