Can 44cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Deep amber brown colour with a red hue, thick creamy beige to tan head, good retetion, light lacing. Aroma roasted malt, dark fruits, toffee, liquorice, cocoa powder notes. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, roast, dark fruits, toffee, dark chocolate. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, smooth sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering malty and chocolate notes, great stuff, very good.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Misty pale yellow appearance, white head. Crisp refreshing first impressions, good clarity zesty hop flavour without getting too thin for the ABV. Nicely done.

On tap at the taproom. Dark brown with medium beige head. Malty, some chocolate, dried fruit, prunes, raisins, sweetish. Medium bodied.

Can 44cl. @home poured into a pint glass. Clear deep amberbrown colour, good frothy beige head, mostly diminishing, fair lacing. Aroma roasted malts, caramel, nutty notes, dried dark fruits, light chocolate. Taste medium sweet and mild bitter, roasted malts, caramel, dark fruits, light chocolate and nuts, nice fruity undertone. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sroasty sweetbitter aftertaste, lingering chocolate and coffee, earthy notes, well-made, tasty and solid mild, really good.

Keg at The Ealing Beer Festival 2023, Ealing, London. A very dark brown/black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Sweet, malty, chocolate, plum, dark fruit taste and aroma. Decent stuff but served very cold.

On tap at Bethnal Green Tavern. Black with beige head. Chocolate, roasted, tad watery, nice bitter finish. Smooth texture. Medium bodied.

Tap at the junkyard Nottingham. Deep cola colour with a tan head. Aroma and taste are malty and sweet chocolate. Medium body.
