Bottle at level 42 thanks to Kenny. It pours hazy deep amber – brown with a bubbly beige head. The aroma is sweet, icing sugar, varnish, apple, toasty grain, coffee grounds and some meatiness. The taste is dry, toasty, earthy, wood, burnt coffee grounds, charred wood, chewiness, tree bark, leather and spice with a dry, toasty finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. A bit chewy and burnt. Mediocre at best…

On tap at Winterbierfestival Wormer. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of yeast, hint of plastic, amber malts, caramel. Flavour is light sweet, dry, yeasty, bitter, nuts, bitter finish. Light bodied. Expected a lot worse.
