Six pack from the grocery store - clear amber - a so-so rendition that has okay ma character but lacks the toasty and bready depth of better examples - it is quite clean, with a good finishing bitterness - some notes of dark bread and a light nuttiness - creamy texture - overall nice, would just like a tad more depth to the malt character.

12 oz. can from Molly's Spirits in Lakeside, CO. Pours a crystal clear dark amber color with a small beige head and decent retention. Zero lacing. Light caramel malt aroma. Sweet caramel malt flavor too, with a semi-slick finish. Sweeter flavor than the aroma. Medium-light body. Very low carbonation. Almost flat. Zero bitterness. Good flavor, but it needs more body and fizz. A bit too lifeless. Old can?

Bought locally, canned November 9th, as per the sticker on the 6pack.

It pours a dark brown with a finger of tan foam, good head retention and very good lacing.

The smell is chocolate, cinnamon, big vanilla, hints of lactose.

The taste is delicious chocolate and vanilla, caramel, a little bit roasty, no cinnamon that I thought I detected in the smell. Perhaps some toffee here as well.

Good mouthfeel, I really like this.

Bought locally, no dating on the can but there's a sticker that says Nov 3rd 2023.

It pours a clear amber with a finger of foam, good head retention and lacing.

The smell is malty, nice cereal aroma, nutty, very light smell of hops. Bread is there and rightfully so.

The taste is cereal, malty as in earthy, some caramel, some nuttiness to it. Very little bitterness and who needs it?

Good mouthfeel, a most excellent Vienna Lager! I could drink a few at a sitting.

Bought locally, no dating on the can.

It pours a clear amber gold with over a finger of foam, very good lacing.

The smell is very hop forward. I get notes of pine and grass and some toasted malt.

The taste is very assertive. Big piney hops with some grass and toasted malt with all 3 being very noticeable. Pretty darned good.

Good mouthfeel, almost juicy.

Excellent. This tickles my fancy.

Draft at the Denver airport. Black with a thin, light brown head. Rich coffee aroma. Fudge. Bittersweet throughout with a finish both roasted bitter and chocolate sweet. Full-bodied, chewy, good overall balance. Nice.
