On tap @ the brewery. Murky reddish orange appearance with a tan head. There’s some cough syrup in the nose along with dark fruits, caramel, brown sugar, and grass. Dull carbonation. A little goopy with high sweetness. Alcohol is noticeable. Kind of a gooey, brown sugar, apple, prune, pear flavor. Not awful but certainty the worst I’ve had here.

Who the fuck added this without the brewery name? Goddammit MJ. On tap @ the brewery. Deep reddish black appearance with a brown head. Molasses, some roast, and a bit of char. Smells clean enough. Dull carbonation. A touch nutty, slightly roasty, mild coffee flavor. The roast isn’t overpowering and the flavor is clean. Slight cola taste. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Not in your face like so many imperial stouts. Pretty damn good.

On tap @ the brewery. Cloudy light yellow appearance with a white head. The aroma on this is pretty cool. There’s an intense grapefruit / dank weed thing going on with some white pepper and pears. Medium light body. Low sweetness. Moderate bitterness. Very juicy and refreshing taste. Spicy and dank. Lots of grapefruit. Not a typical Saison but actually, quite fun.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours a clear dark golden appearance with an off white head. The aroma is clean. No harsh bitterness or goopy malts detected in it. Tropical fruit and a little bit of spiciness. The flavor is a bit on the sweet side. Moderate high bitterness as well. Neither the bitterness nor the sweetness is too bad but both seem a little much. Flavors of grapefruit, blood oranges, crunchy leaves, wood, and grass. The aroma was nice but the flavor is pretty run of the mill. Once it warmed a touch, there was a bit of diacetyl on the back end.

On tap @ the brewery. Milky yellow appearance with a white head. Aroma is pretty spicy, there’s some coriander, citrus peel, a bit peppery yeast, and some sweetness. Off dry. Low bitterness. Flavorful and easy drinking even if it’s a bit simple. Soft wheat, spices aren’t overwhelming. Lemon is forefront. A bit twangy. Some spices on the finish.

Tap at the brewery - black with a fairly thick tan lace - strongly.roasty - very sweet, caramelized sugar flavors - moderate coffee flavor - a touch of smoke- moderate alcohol warmth - a bit of raisin - kind of hot finish - finish is actually kind of abrasive and sharp - very rough around the edges.

Turbid purplish brew - coffee totally dominates this - I’ve had the base beer and I can hardly taste it’s character here - tastes like straight-up cold coffee - some vanilla bean character and moderate bitterness/roast - maybe a bit of maple - kind of watery, very sweet finish - meh.

Tap at the brewery - clear gold - decent creaminess to the texture - husky malt character - garlic/onion hop flavor - woody finish - sugary sweetness on the tail end - needs a lot of work.

Tap at the brewery - more along the lines of a cream ale - seems.designed as a gateway for the hipster pabst drinking crowd - soft texture - simple, kind of sourish malt character - lightly floral hops - light breadiness - light corn/dms on the tail end - put it in aluminum tall boys, man.

Tap at the brewery - dark purplish red - a decent rendition of the style, with sufficient malt depth and richness to satisfy what one looks for in a scotch ale - some toffee/caramelized sugars, light plum, faint earthiness/smoke - the sweetness is a bit sticky, lacking any kind of balancing character (mineral, savoriness, acidity), but still pretty good.
