473 ml can. Pours black with a lightish head of big bubbles. Aromas of nuts, cola, and roasted malts. Flavors of same though can’t say hazelnuts. Light but pleasant.

Can from High Point Liquor, Vancouver
Hazy golden color. The aroma is just earthy, vegetable, bready, not too strong though. The mouthfeel is lean and dry, the malts have a biscuity character, the hop is moderately earthy and peppery, and hop resins in the final.
Quite drinkable, nothing special though; could pass for British ESB too..

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a deep dark amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out light British hops, piney hops and toasted caramel malt. Flavour brings out the citra hops upfront along with an English malt character, and with a solid toasted caramel malt backbone. Not exactly authentic but it's really nicely made. A robust take on the style. Good stuff.

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of fruity esters from the Belgian yeast, along with a little bubblegum and candied sugar. Flavour is in the same vein, bringing out a very messy and harsh cloyingly sweet character of bubblegum and candied sugar. Fruity esters abound. This isn't well-curated - needs work.

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out the rice, along with straw and a little grass. Flavour is very clean, with straw and rice notes characterizing this. Clean and simple and easy to drink, but not much to speak of here.

On tap at Hearthstone, pours a hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out unmistakable British hops upfront with a soft biscuity malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of British hopping dominating this. Not overly aggressive but there is a solid bitterness on the finish. Simple but well-brewed.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out restrained piney hops upfront, with some floral notes and dry biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with a very floral and piney hop quality, and sweet biscuity malt that leaves a fairly pronounced residual sweetness. Rather sweet but not bad.

Can - Fuzzy candy peach. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light sweet and tart peach. Too much candy on the nose.

Can - Odd vegetal sweetness and soapy notes. Clear gold with a decent white head. Light and bright but lychee adds just an odd sweetness.

Can - Sweet pale malts and light cucumber notes. Clear gold with a quick dissipating head. Tartness and nice cucumber with a light malty finish. Not bad, but could have been better with some more Cucumber on the nose and acidity.
