Bottle shared at the Cafe Abseits tasting during the Post Christmas Bamberg Jolly - January 2014. Pours deep brown with a foamy, tan cap. Very good stuff. Nice coffee character, aged malts, dry chocolate. Medium to full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderate warmth in the finish, more cocoa, dried bread. Good one.

Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2014. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is tiny estery and slightly phenolic with crackers, grapefruit, pears, hay, dry soil, pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, tiny sour, tiny estery and slightly phenolic with crackers, wheat flour, grapefruit, unripe pears, tamarind, hay, dry soil, pepper corns and lemon zest.
