Can from the brewery. Jet black pour, with a large mocha head. Solid oak notes, sweet caramel and cocoa, burnt coffee, and some light whiskey. Flavour is burnt soy, sliky, slightly bitter cocoa, and lots of dark, burnt roasty malts with more coffee. The cocoa really comes thriugh as it warms and the oak, and whiskey flavours also become more pronounced. A real sipper, silky, and soft, medium bitter and loads of cocoa and oak.

Can from the brewery. Jet black pour, with a large mocha head. Aroma is quite roasty, to be expected. Big coffee notes, light smoke, light soy, hints of dark fruit, vanilla is nowhere to be found. Mouth feel is silky, smooth, and a soft carb. Medium bitterness, soft, sweet vanilla finally makes an appearance in the finish. The end remains roasty, and lightly smoky. Nice stuff.

Can from the brewery. Very dark brown pour, with a small off white head. Aroma is tart, and funky. Flemish red aromas, balsamic vinegar, soft, sweet, earthy vanilla notes, woody and boozy with some sweet malts and caramel. Silky, full bodied mouth feel with a very soft carb. The finish is sweet, but finishes tart. Low bitterness, Flemish tartness, with lots of barrel and overly ripe fruit.

Can from the brewery. Dark brown pour, big, Rocky, beige head. Aroma is loaded with burnt caramels, dark, ripe fruit, figs, plums and some light oak, with a soft cherry. Mouth feel is silky, and soft, carb is perfect. Finish is low on the bitterness scale, lots of yeasty cereals and dark, sticky, toffee malts. Soft fruit, cherry is pleasant and cuts the sticky syrupy sweetness. Quite nice!
