Keg at Bar Hop. Clear amber body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of orange and burnt caramel. Flavour of marmalade and sweet orange. Medium body with a sticky mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A solid IPA but it feels quite sweet and heavy somehow.

Keg at Bar Hop. Clear golden/amber body with a medium off-white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of pineapple, orange and honey. Flavour of caramel, toffee, Parma violets and a peppery finish. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Light fizz. Very enjoyable - I loved the hop spice finish.

Can - Citrus peel and wheat. Cloudy gold with a rich white head. A bit harsh and boozy with some bitte citrus peel. Seems a bit out of balance.

Can from NB Liquor. Cloudy pale yellow under a small white head leaving a touch of lace. Nose is apricot, yeast, honey, a good dose of funk, pepper ,lemon peel, and some grass. Flavour is lightly sweet with a lemon tartness and a well balanced level of spice. There is just enough Brett funk to add some interest. Mouth is medium- with prickly carbonation and a long dry finish. Quite refreshing.

Can from NB liquor. Hazy pale gold with a large fluffy white head that lasts. Nose of yeast, banana, green apple and some spice. Flavour follows the nose except the spice is more prominent with a tart backing. Mouth is medium- and a bit slick with active carbonation. Nicely balanced. 8-/3+/8-/3+/15-

Boks 0.44L kjøpt på Extra Hamna. Lys brun med hvit skum. Lukt av malt og litt humle. Lett frisk og mild øl med fin miks av humle og malt, behagelig bitter. Lett og fin drikkeøl.

Can - Sweet and syrupy flowery notes. Clearish gold with a decent frothy white head. Sweet, bitter and a touch herbal with some peppery notes. Still flowery and a bit on the sweet side, the bitterness cuts through it nicely. A pretty dry finish. Not bad.

Can - Funky stone fruit with some nice citrus. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Funky and yeasty notes with none of the nice complexity of the nose.

Can - Tons of tropical fruits with mango and sweet passion fruit up front. Hazy gold with a nice white head. Nice tropical notes that quickly move to some bitterness and a dry woody finish. Lots of peel as well. The finish is a little distracting, I would have liked a longer possible sweet or light bitter finish.

Enjoyed at the Loon. Pours a hazy golden colour with a white head, decent retention with some wet-creamy lacing. Herbal aromas with Belgian Ale yeast. The taste has a soft blend of the hops, yeast and citrus flavours. Some mild grain lingers in the aftertaste. More refreshing Saison than a punchy one.
