This is probably one of the best Kolsches I’ve ever had. Not that this is a huge deal, but I was really surprised by the decency of this beer. There’s a little cheese in here and a nice crisp, almost potato chip-like finish. There’s something really breadlike in the yeast, a finish of good bread. On tap at The Rhino.

Nice bitter taste. Golden cloudy. Smells tangy, wheaty. There’s a really bitter tinge to it. enjoyable hefeweizen but it doesn’t have the soft carbonation and soft palate feel that many of them have but I like it. Actually kind of tastes more like an APA. On tap at volos.

Pale. Not much head. Bubblegummy, hints of florals. Off-dry. Has some nice florals and some sweetish malt character.

Smells like malt, has a very typical altbier aftertaste with a lot of bitter barley. Really good lacing. Bitterness has good presence, a kind of grainy bitterness. Decent. On tap at WVRST.

Taste of lots of bitter hops and high alcohol. It was a little flat on cask when I had it, a little caramel. Not that bad but a little too much on the sweet side, at least for my tastes. On tap at Burger Bar
