Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light lemon and coconut. Taste adds an edge of pineapple. Light sweet finish.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. As Novo Brazil Ipanema. Aroma is grapefruit, malt, pine, orange, touch of candied fruit, grass. Flavour is sweetish with a moderate bitterness. Body is medium. Lacks bitterness, fairly sweet for the style. Decent.

Can from lowcostbeer, consumed 2 months past BBE. Pours black with moderate sized tanned head. Aroma is full on roasty with coffee, hint of treacle and berries. Taste is rich with roast, coffee, charred caramel, dark chocy, vanilla, some liquorice. Bittersweet throughout. Smooth full bodied. Good stuff.

Sample (thanks fonefan!). Pink colour with a small pinkish head. Aroma is blueberries, some mild tartness with mild herbs and sweet malts. Flavour is tart blueberries, some black currant and mild floral tones with some sweet malts as well. Somewhat dry palate and a slight acidic kick to it. Beautiful.

Poured from the tap @ Novo Easy Kombucha bar in Ocean Beach. Randomly walked by. Clear blonde gold with small white head. Tastes off. Maybe there’s still kombucha in the line, but this is not good. Barely any hops and a weird sour note. Awful.
