A red copper ale with a thin light mocha head. In aroma, nice caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, light woody notes, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light bourbon barrel notes, pleasant and smooth. Mondiale 2023.

Tiny bottle sample at Festival Bouffe, Bière & Boisson in Saint-Hyacinthe. Dark brown color, occasional edge bubble. Aroma of Christmas spice and port wine. Taste is sweet, boozy vinous prune, plum, burnt espresso, Christmas pudding. A sipper for sure.

Tiny bottle pour at Festival Bouffe, Bière & Boisson in Saint-Hyacinthe. Clear dark brown color, still. Aroma of burnt espresso, port wine that's past date, licorice. Taste is rich, boozy dark chocolate and figs. Taste is mixed dark fruit, burnt caramel, more coffee. Boozy.

Tiny bottle pour at Festival Bouffe, Bière & Boisson in Saint-Hyacinthe. Clear dark brown color, pretty much still. Aroma of vinous port wine, brownies. Taste has prunes, plums, cocoa, espresso and booze. Not very beer-like but interesting. Definite finisher.

Can pours out amber topped with a fizzy head. Nose is nice sweet jammy blueberry notes and some tea. Taste is more of the nice sweet berries tea spice touch.

Golden with a large soapy white head that lingered and left good lacing. Tangy, yeasty and citric with stone fruit and perfume. Long finish. Medium body.
