About
The company was founded by Alastair Hook in 1999. He started the brewery in a small lock-up on an industrial estate, before moving to the Greenwich Brewery, and then to a site on nearby Blackwall Lane in 2010. It was purchased by SABMiller in May 2015. As part of the agreements made with regulators before Anheuser-Busch InBev was allowed to acquire SABMiller in 2016, Meantime was sold to Asahi Breweries of Japan in October 2016. Brewing moved to Fuller's in May 2024.

Bottled. Hazy pale nutbrown colour, small white head. Aroma is sour raspberries with hints of nuts. Flavour is sweet raspberry with dry grassy hints. Also some wheat and other berries in the finish.

Bottled. Pale, slightly hazyish yellow colour, not much head. Aroma is fruity and caramellish hops and malts. Flavour is fruity hops and caramellish. Smooth and quite pleasant pilsener.

Bottled. Dark brown colour, brown head. Aroma is raosted malts, alcohol, slight leather and smoked wood. Flavour is roasted malts, alcohol, hops and roasted coffee. Pleasant mix.

Bottled. Golden, a bit hazy color, not much head. Fruity, grainy aroma. Malty yeasty, a bit sweet, bitter aftertaste. Quite "English" pilsener.

(750 ml bottle at Plain Kitchen in Gothenburg) Extremely hazy, orange color with a cream colored head. Very fruity hoppy scent, smells bitter. Very bitter taste and bitter after taste, but it’s a fruity bitterness that’s not too much for me.
