Description
Founded by Greg Koch and Steve Wagner, Stone Brewing has come a long way since opening in San Diego County in 1996. Now the ninth-largest craft brewer in the U.S., we operate brewing facilities on both coasts β Escondido, California and Richmond, Virginia. On top of making badass beers for over two decades, we operate restaurants and tap rooms across three continents as well as the largest craft-centric beer distribution business in the U.S. Our beers are available in all 50 states and more than 40 countries worldwide.
Stone Brewing was bought in 2022 by Sapporo Brewing (Japan) and in 2026 by Duvel Moortgat (Belgium).

On tap @ Bubba Gump, San Francisco. Dorada limpia sin apenas espuma. Aroma escaso, cereal. En boca es ligera, punzante de gas. Agradable sabor malteado con contrapunto de notas florales y naranja. Bebible.

Can to glass...very dark brown with a beige head
So, I did not expect this to be so bitter.
This shows up mainly in the finish. I really wanted to find the good here, but the bitter takes over.
Malty? Smokey? Wish I could taste those qualities!!

Can, 2023 vintage. Roasted malt aroma with notes of nutmeg, chocolate, coffee, chili peppers, vanilla and cinnamon. Pours deep brown with a finger of mocha brown head that has excellent retention and some lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt, chocolate, chili peppers and cinnamon flavors as well as having a medium body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes smooth with coffee, nutmeg and vanilla flavors with the nutmeg lingering on the palate a little longer after each sip. Delightful.
