Description
We have always been driven to craft the best beer we can, and (in our opinion) the true challenge, consistency. Constant innovation is exciting and engaging, but consistent core beers that you can always depend on, is a challenge that equally drives us.

Our approach to beer development is different than most. We outline the desired finished product, it’s appearance, aroma, mouthfeel and then reverse engineer the ingredients and processes to get our desired final product. Knowing and understanding not just individual ingredients characteristics, but how they interact with each other make this possible.

16oz can from John's Marketplace - Beaverton. Clear, pale golden pour shrinking island of fine foamy head. Simple grainy aroma, as expected. Taste is sweet, grainy with a robust crispness, clean: and then disappears to nothing. Throwback lager.

12 oz. can, pours a clear amber orange with a medium white head. Nose is full of truckloads of resinous hops, orange marmalade, some grapefruit zest, and a big bready caramel malt backbone. Flavour is along the same lines, with plenty of grapefruit zest, resinous hops, sweet caramel, and bready malt. Definitely on the maltier side, but the hops are powerful and balance the malt well. Very good.

Very dark brown with a thick head. Toasty malts and piney hops, with a bit of citrus. The palate is big, with a lot of bitterness. Very hoppy, and the hops are bright. Long finish, full of roast, and chocolate, and of course more of those orangey, piney hops. This is a very good example.

Draft pour pint at Eagles Pride Golf. Mostly clean and bright golden pour, patchy head. Lots of sweet tropical fruit, pineapple, lime, barely a hint of coconut. Cool and flavorful with a sturdy wheat background. Was surprised how well the tropical character worked with this style. Refreshing. Enjoyed this.

Draft pour at 7 Seas, Tacoma. Very clean copper amve4 appearance, dense, off white foam head. Lively carb, lots of orange fruit here, with a moderate, and slightly odd sweetness to it. Resinous, bitter hops follow, body remains on the creamier side. Juicy over bitter, though both take their equal turns. Unique IPA for sure. Good, but next to their 7 C's IPA, nothing stood a chance.

Draft pour at 7 Seas, Tacoma. Moderately hazy golden orange, tons of loose foam head and lacing. Gentle aroma of some citrus hops and juicy orange fruit. Flavor is more bold, and leans a little more to the best coast in my opinion. More SF like IPA. Fitting. Juicy, but dank. Very flavorful and ultimately u filtered to achieve my type of hazy IPA. Very nice brew here. RIP Willie Mays.

Draft pour at 7 Seas, Tacoma. Finished the hike to the taproom, and this was a solid IPA at the finish line. Bright and ultimately clean golden amber pour, with a dense cream foam head. So much classic hop character here. Feels like the entire history of great PNW hop forward beers in one glass. Piney hops jump out up front, and remain modestly bitter and flavorful throughout the palate. Aroma is gently floral, but mostly forest pine as well. Subtle grassy finish, with a balanced bold and earthy grain. Hints of citrus peel dare to battle the pine. Just an overall badass, refreshing, delicious IPA. Hops don't need to be any more expiremental or fancy than this right here.

Draft pour at 7 Seas, Tacoma. Listed simply as 7 Seas Pilsner, though the abv and commercial description remain the same. I guess they've been doing this classic pilsner good for long enough that all they needed to change was a slight tweak to the name. Shiny golden appearance, thin head, sticky lacing. Very crisp front, with some pils and cracker grains with a clear bitter hop note to follow. It's got a bite, but it drinks simple regardless. Very clean palate. Solid pils.
