Slightly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a very thin, fast-dying off-white head on top that's barely there after a few seconds. Aroma of bright black, roasted tea with a lot of citrus and floral and tart elements, but a sweet note as well mainly from caster sugar, but also from some citrus fruits. Light-bodied; Very tea-like notes with black tea, caster sugar, citrus fruits and a floral bite and some softer grain and a bit of artificial lemon sweetness and tart acidity towards the end. Aftertaste is dry, but very tart and sour with the citrus fruits beating out the black, roasted tea notes and leaving a well-rounded bite at the end that is enjoyable and refreshing, especially after a long run, even in the [what should be cold] month of November. Overall, a nice and enjoyable beer for the style and as intended (the name implies the flavour profile) that is very refreshing, slightly dry, but very sweet and sour throughout. Great to sample and well recommended, especially if you are one of the people who enjoy [real] sweet tea from the south. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 12-September-2020 for US$2,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 09-November-2020.

Clear copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish, off-white head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of metal, nuts, earth, toffee and caramelised sugars with a dry bite and some very subtle yeast and alcohol noiceable in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong nutty, caramelised sugar and biscuity malt notes are all evident with a lot of dry, herbal and floral elements with some more biscuits and bready notes with a dry, crisp yeast characteristic on the end with some light sweetness an a complex finish. Aftertaste shows herbal and grassy notes with a lot of caramelised sugar and biscuity bite, but a relatively easy-going and crisp beer that shows a good robust quality and nice a nice sweet bite at the end. Overall, a nice and herbal profile, but pungent caramelised sugar and toffee note throughout. Overall, a nice and deep caramel and sweet, nutty, earthy and floral bite throughout with a good complexity, but relative easy-drinking nature. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 02-September-2020 for US$1,87 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-November-2020.

12 ounce can thanks to hershiser1! Typo, but I thought I'd leave it. And that reminds me of Orel and the Dodgers, the home of Justin Superspreader Turner. Fuck that guy. And his enablers. And now I'm sad. And angry. Thanks Adam. 10/31/20. Hazy orange, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of lime, earthy hops. Taste is lime, resiny and earthy hops. Medium bodied. Not very tart.

A little better than the bourbon version but that's just because I like rum. Same shit otherwise. Booze and caramel. Sweet tobacco. Light florals. And here I like quads and rum. Tap at brewery.

Lots of chardonnay but not completely overdone. Just a touch too much. Still some florals and coriander detectable. Finishes with some winey tang. I love tripels but this isn't one I would drink a lot. Tap at VA Beach location.
