Super crisp pink and copper coloured body with a thinnish, very fast-dying off-white head that seems like a cider. Aroma of bright yeast, wheat, cranberries and a huge dose of soft candy and fruit-based sweetness. Light-bodied; Fresh cranberries flavours and a tart (just like the name, huh?!?) crisp sweetness that shows some acidic and vinegar notes, but the floral and soft wheat sides show more character here. Aftertaste shows some crisp and tart fruit notes with raspberries, strawberries and cranberries all coming through, but the lighter wheat and yeast notes dominate here and make this very easy-drinking and soft throughout. Overall, a nice and pungent, fruity beer that has some light acidity from the fruits, but the wheat, yeast and soft characteristics that make this easy-drinking, yet complex. A good combination and great to sample during the holiday season, even if it's slightly chilly (below freezing) outside. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 02-November-2020 for US$2,79 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-January-2021.

Somewhat vegetal meyer lemon nose. Clear amber, medium head. Lemongrass. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Kroger can. Clear dark brown with a small beige head. Roasted malt, caramel, brown leaf, coffee bean nose. Black coffee, roasted malt, dry chocolate, light ash. Good.

Kroger can. Copper, beige head. Brown leaf and grass, honey, sweet grasses in the nose. Bread, brown leaf, brown grass, green grass, honey, light spice in the end. Tasty!

Super clear, golden, peach and even light ruby and pink coloured body with a very thin, off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of light candy, soft flowers, pine, resin and a kick of tropical fruits and fructose near the end. Medium-bodied; Very rich malts with some pungent grain and bitter resinous and grassy hops with a nice, balanced profile, but some assertive notes, especially with the alcohol showing depth and a lot of alpha acids and bitterness from the hops, without much to balance them out. Aftertaste is relatively well-balanced, but focused almost exclusively on the malt and hops, without much complexity, as the fruits, resin and strength sort of die off and leave noticeable hops, tons of malts and a lot of alcohol, metallic notes and some astringency. Overall, a nice enough Imperial IPA, but missing depth, complexity and range, but at least it's showing hops, alcohol and balance. Nice to try relatively locally and very fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's in Alexandria, Virginia on 05-December-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 15-December-2020, just ten days later.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Light biscuit aroma. Flavor is crisp with mild hops and moderately sweet grains.

Fucked up the Spanish, (Oaxaca Choco) but a pretty decent all over beer. They pulled off the Mexican hot chocolate. Chile and cacao. Big roast. A hint of coffee. Bitter spicy end. Some musk and coconut. Black pour with good head and lacing. Can.

Can, courtesy of mansquito. Pours hazy yellow. Pineapple, floral, synthetic orange, little chalky, grapefruit juice finish. Medium body. Odd, ultimately fine.

Honey and tea nose, pecan underneath. Clear copper, fine floaties, medium head. Strong honey, sweet malt and hay. Pecan finish. Medium body, easy carbonation. Nice example of the style.
