Can - dark amber bordering on brown - moderate off-white lace - nose is caramelized maltiness and notes of chocolate and toffee - warming but not boozy - very traditional to style - rich maltiness followed by a mild acidity to cut the sweetness - chocolate, caramel, tobacco, coffee, vanilla - creamy texture throughout - slight sharpness on the tail end, but it is solid.
16oz can pours out copper color topped with a sand head. Nose is nice light grain some toast and grass hops. Taste is more of the nice light grain malts and grass hops.
Awfully difficult to do a slow pour from a can, but still such a great beer. Floral, light grains of paradise, low dough malt. Smooth, bright effervescence, crisp finish
