Draft pour pint enjoyed at Hop and Hound. A mostly clean, autumn orange appearance with a moderate foam head and tons of lacing. Soft bready malts on the nose, and some hints of forest like hops. Really smooth taste. Thicker body, notes of sweet tropical fruit cut by cool piney hop character. Creamy texture makes this drink very easy. Exceptionally smooth and delicious fresh hop here.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver, canned 5/10/2021, 3+ months ago
Cloudy dark blond colour. Candy-like fruit aroma, sweet, light colored malt. Lean, with light residual sweetness; the malt base is like liquid bread, a bit crusty; the hops are not bright, but add pleasant fruity tones (ripe peach, mango, candied pineapple); balanced bitterness, and just a touch of alcohol.
Still pretty good, solid.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Hop amd Hound. Glowing golden orange haze, with a thin, oily foam head. First sip, I was honestly unsure about this one. Quite the dank hazy as far as both aroma and flavor go. Grassy hops blend with earthy grain. Bold and bitter hops. Certainly unlike other hazy IPAs around here. Citrus peel like finish. A bit of an aggressive hop profile, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Pretty good overall, but Matchless has set their own bar quite high.

Found this turding up at the Gull. Vibrant amber colour and has a little bit of haze to it. A bit toasty, a bit of caramel. On the palate, it's got a nice, rich caramel, some toast, and it ends up being sweet in the finish. Still, that malt complexity is quite nice.

Draft pour pint enjoyed at Hop and Hound. I used to be so good at keeping up with all the latest Matchless brews, until it became virtually impossible to try them all from my location. I'll keep doing my best! Juicy orange haze appearance. Plenty of cream foam head and lacing. Really easy drinking, refreshing pale. Plenty of citrus character, but far less aggressive with the hops opposed to other Matchess brews. Nothing wrong with a little change now and then! This is refreshing. Touches of oranges and a soft orange peel like bitterness late. Overall just a Juicy crusher of a pale here.

16 oz can from Hop and Hound. Enjoyed from the can like the style as well as beers associated with parties should be. Smooth, refreshing taste. Soft pils like grain nose with a grassy afterthought. Cool, almost juicy body here. Nice hoppy character to this flavorful lager. I really do love this style, especially when it's executed like this one. Very good.
