Tall can from Elizabeth Station. Canned on 2017-06-13. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a huge white head. Aroma is tropical fruits and some flowery notes. It is a quite bitter with piney and tropical fruits notes, quite malty at the same time. A good example of the West Coast Style IPA.

500 ml bottle from Bottleworks. Nose is chocolate, milk sugar, vanilla, and a hint of roastiness. Black with a small lightly lacing cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet, very chocolaty, and rich vanilla. Nice to run into a quality beer from a small brewer and thanks to the Bottleworks guy for pointing it out.

Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Hazy golden orange pour with a ton of foam head. Matchless has already achieved the status of me seeking out their new beers. Such a young brewery, putting out extremely good stuff. Juicy orange fruit aroma. Creamy body, juicy orange fruit with more than enough hop character going on. Very hop heavy in flavor, more so than in their others, I’d say. Lingering orange fruit, coating mouthfeel. Flavorful. Solid addition to their solid lineup.

On tap at Matchless, pours a pretty clear yellowish blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a lovely saison yeast character, some dry biscuity notes and a very rustic quality. Flavour follows through, with rustic saison yeast character, some phenols in there and dry biscuity malt. Really nice to see a legit non-brett saison on this side of the Atlantic. Excellent.

Flavour is super clean and juicy, with dry biscuity malt, light stone fruit and a touch of dankness. Lots of depth and exactly what I want in a pale. Excellent.

On tap at Matchless, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of oaky wood, some wild yeast character and a touch of farmhouse character. Flavour is very complex, with lots of oak, wild yeast character and farmhouse yeast. They've utilized the yeast perfectly here and likewise the foundres. Fantastic.
