50cl can brought back from Cape Verde by my brother Rupe. Drank at home on 2nd June 2026 with a hot curry and chapatti. Bright golden body, weak but stable white dusting of bubbles on top. Boozy and malty, a lot better than I was expecting to be honest.

Sample, thanks Robin Svensson! Clear golden, small head. Fruity nose with some vegetables. Sweet with light to medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Doughy and grainy, some old grass. Low bitterness.

33cl can brought back from Cape Verde by my brother (Rupe). Drank at Auntie Sue's on Friday 22nd May 2026. Fine overall, clean and clear lager, white crust which quickly faded, no real aroma or stand out flavours. It's wet and has a slight alcoholic bite.

I have now tried three Strela lagers, they all taste pretty much the same, only difference being alcohol content. Bottle from local shop, drank in hotel room in Santa Maria.
