Tap at the brewery. Sour IPA with NZ hops and kiwi puree in the mash. Fruity, malty, citrus and white grape, a touch of kiwi flavor but not very distinct. Not hugely sour--the brut IPA was more so, but well balanced. Decent.

Tap at the brewery. Bright gold, almost clear. Fruity nose, tart, lemon, peach and apricot, koji. Nicely tart and some sweetness. None of the nasty grape juice I associate with brut IPAs. Nice stone fruit and citrus. Good stuff.

Tap at the brewery. Almost black, with lace. Nose is light clove, chocolate, toast, and a touch of banana. Dry, not sweet, and much lower esters than expected. Very toasty, and a bit of roast as well. Clean and subtle. I prefer more esters, but not bad.

Bottle. Big zesty hops in the nose, with wheaty biscuits. Hazy gold color. Rich malt, wheaty, nice citrus hops, but the finish is just a bit dirty.

Tap at the brewery. Nice ginger nose, rich malt, citrus. Hazy orange with a tall, thick head. Sweet citrus and ginger flavor, rich malt. Prickly, tingly finish is especially nice. The ginger is not overdone, nor is the sweetness. Good.

Tap at the brewery. Hazy bright golden orange with a low head. Big lemony hop nose, orange, grains. Flavor seems to revel some dms, although that could be the barley they used, which is kind of special. Nice lemony, leafy hops, honey. Full body.

Tap at Zest Oike. Great hop nose, fruity, tropical, citrus (Simcoe and Mosaic). Sweet and young flavor, great hops. A bit too green (admitted by the brewer), with a bit of astringency in the finish, but pretty good and very nice hops. Want to try it in a couple more weeks.

Tap at Zest Fest. Nishijin Silky Weizen 5% 10 IBU Opaque gold with a thick head of foam and a nice sweet clove aroma. Medium bodied with lots of banana and wheat flavor. Soft silky mouthfeel on a medium body. Surprisingly good. 3.5
