Bottle from the brewery. Deep, thick, hazy pastel gold with a tall, fine head. Bright citrus in the nose, grapefruit, lemon, light biscuit malt. Fruity and somewhat dry. Lots of grapefruit and lemon, crackers and bread, a bit of dankness and a touch of resin. Very dry finish, which is surprising and actually quite refreshing. Really hides its strength.

Bottle from the brewery. Big, juicy tropical fruit nose. Pineapple, mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange. Also some biscuity malt and grains. Hazy pale gold with a low head. Flavor is nicely fruity, not too sweet, a big of tartness, plus some wheaty biscuits. Lots of flavor and high drinkability. Dry finish with mild bitterness and prickly pepper.

Bottle, purchased at the brewery. Pale, hazy yellow--looks like grapefruit juice--with a tall, thick head. Citrus nose. Lemon, grapefruit, mandarin orange, with quite light malt in the background. Flavor is bright and lemony, bready malt, orange. Low bitterness. Body is medium. Not quite as bright as I would like. I think it needs more pronounced hop bitterness for a crisper finish. Nevertheless, quite a flavorful beer for 3.5%.

Tap at the brewery. Clear bright gold with a low, thick head. Nose is what biscuits, clove, some citrus and just a touch of banana. Rich wheat flavor, lots of cloves, very silky, smooth and rich body. Nice.

Tap at the brewery. Sour IPA with NZ hops and kiwi puree in the mash. Fruity, malty, citrus and white grape, a touch of kiwi flavor but not very distinct. Not hugely sour--the brut IPA was more so, but well balanced. Decent.

Tap at the brewery. Bright gold, almost clear. Fruity nose, tart, lemon, peach and apricot, koji. Nicely tart and some sweetness. None of the nasty grape juice I associate with brut IPAs. Nice stone fruit and citrus. Good stuff.

Tap at the brewery. Almost black, with lace. Nose is light clove, chocolate, toast, and a touch of banana. Dry, not sweet, and much lower esters than expected. Very toasty, and a bit of roast as well. Clean and subtle. I prefer more esters, but not bad.

Bottle. Big zesty hops in the nose, with wheaty biscuits. Hazy gold color. Rich malt, wheaty, nice citrus hops, but the finish is just a bit dirty.
