They don't call it a radler but that's basically what it is. The lime is okay - not as bright as the recent Entropy that Dageraad did. The base beer is light, but brings a fair bit of bitterness, and that ends up clashing with whatever else they're aiming for here. It's a tough balance with low-alc fruit beer, and this one gets a little too bitter to work for me.

Pale and hazy. Medium head. Yeasty saison, that sweaty taste. Trying to cover that up with fruit but not nearly enough. Ok, this doesnβt flow for me at all.

Chill haze, darkish straw colour. Thick head. Aroma has a bit of herbaceous hop, clean bready pale malt. On the palate, again good pale malt base, gentle bitterness, sort of a gooseberry and dried apricot hop note. Well made lager.

Can from The Gull, North Vancouver
Cloudy blond colour, dull. Orange character, with the same kind of bitterness. Very low sweetness, but it has a good body, and it's not chalky. I appreciate the tangerine character in the finish. Not bright, but still good.

Blond colour, clean or slightly hazy. All the elements are there: chewy, sweet malts, moderate bitterness, mild grassy touch; it improves after a few sips, when the carbonation is getting lower and maybe the temperature is getting one or two degrees higher; sure, I probably always approach a Lager as if I'm in Germany, but if compared to American lagers, this is solid, certainly it's balanced and clean, and it's not too much underhopped.
Good.

16oz on Alex's porch. Appearance: hazy golden with a white head. Aroma: juicy, tropical fruits, some citruses. Taste: along the same lines with some dusty notes, noticeably bitter finish. Overall: pretty nice.

Hazy, with a thick head. Bright hop nose, and even brighter on the palate. Lots of grapefruit, lychee, very vibrant. There's a fair bit of bitterness, splash of alcohol. Excellent.

Fairly smoky. A bit of doppelbock sweetness. Surprisingly hoppier than usual.

Bottle from the brewery, via Josh
Black colour, beige head, compact. Aroma of dark malts, pomegranate molasses, whiskey. The mouthfeel is lean, it's soft, smooth; maybe a tad overcarbonated; good flavour of dark sugars and caramel, it doesn't have the malt depth of most recent Imperial Stouts, but it has elegance; the barrel presence is massive, there is whiskey flavour and alcohol, warming; the finish is a bit weaker than desired. Well made, very good, elegant, a different take from the crowd.
