Golden and bright. There’s just a thin head on this. It’s also got a light fruitiness on the nose. The Sasquatch hops lend a pleasant spicy note, along with just a touch of stone fruit. There’s a good pale malt character, and a hint of acidity that makes we wonder if there’s wheat in here. I appreciate, though, that these beers are made well enough to warrant proper examination – I get value from paying attention to the beers here, which is more than I can say for most places in Vancouver.

Dark amber, bright, but looks a bit flat. It’s quite sweet, and brings with it a little bit of toffeeish sugar, and a lot of estery character. Comes across as quite low bitterness, and then there’s a decent amount of alcohol, which helps to dry out the finish. It’s okay, but doesn’t really bring the malt richness nor the complexity I would prefer in this style.

Cloudy, a fairly thin head. The aroma bursts with juicy Galaxy and Sauvin. Lots of fun. A rich pithy bitterness, complemented by a clean pale malt backdrop? Yes, please. The bright hops and the overall sense of balance are exceptional for an IPA these days. I’m digging this.

The same description as Throwing Stones.... but the colour is different and it has a different name so I'll assume it's a different beer. Pale and hazy, with a fairly thick head. On the nose, this has a nice, bright, vinous character, along with fruity hop notes. Moderate bitterness, clean Thierez fermentation, good pale malt character. I like this one, it’s pretty good. And yeah, interplay between the Hll Melon and pinot gris in here works really well.

Smells of nail polish with vague brown sugar notes, has soft clear velvet body with little foam. Flavour is soft molasses and vague caramel. Mouthfeel is a little boozy but still smooth. It's clean but still a very unexceptional wee heavy.

Smells of bright hops with a hint of floor cleaner, has good creamy foam and soft cloudy yellow body. Flavour is good citrusy hops, vague pineapple notes. Mouthfeel is smooth and crisp but not exceptionally so. This is decent enough though there's really not much malt character for a pale ale.

The aroma is vague hops with soft pine in there. Has okay foam on a semi-cloudy orange body. Flavour is soft pine and more mellow hops. Mouthfeel is smooth enough. It's clean but uninteresting.

Very soft malt aroma, has good foam on a clearish copper body. Flavour is muddy caramel with wet bread hints. Mouthfeel is just like wet sugar. Sadly it's a subpar märzen.

The aroma is soft oatmeal and sweet cocoa, has good foam on a nice darker brown body. Flavour is soft chocolate with hints of smooth oatmeal. Mouthfeel has okay carbonation but it's also a little thin for a beer like this. Still an okay stout.

Nice citrus and plum on the nose, has good cloudy pink body with soft foam on top. Flavour is bright plum, good sweetness and tartness. Crisp mouthfeel. It's very nice, casual and refreshing.
