Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Muddy blond color with creamy head. Aroma of yellow fruits, pie crust, peach. Smooth mouthfeel; strong wheat and spice character, strong bitterness too; mildly fruity; but the bitterness in the final is a bit too much. also, it’s too yeasty, dirty.

Looks great. Bright and fiery red-brown colour and a thin bubbly head. Aroma is chewy and a bit buttery. The body is fairly light for the style. There’s more diacetyl than hop, which is sort of backgroundy. The malts are nice, smooth, lightly caramelly with a touch of crystal. If you look at this as more of an imperial red, you’ll find it quite good, except for the diacetyl, which is perceptible and therefore a problem.

650 ml bottle. Pours a brown amber with little head. Aromas of oranges, resin, and roasted malts. Flavours of a weak barley wine. Citrus hops and malts. But neither a good barley wine or DIPA.

Bottle - Roasted malts, dark fruit or honey and molasses. Almost jet mahogany with a think brown head. Malt explodes with a rich sweetness that comes from the honey. Coats the pallet in a malty cloying sweetness. A bit more bitterness would have balanced this better. This actually isn’t too bad in the right circumstances. Cold night shared among friends would be good, but not for everyday drinking.

Smells bad initially. Once its in your mouth it’s ok but almost smells like turkey stuffing of something in the beginning. Very boozy. Pours cloudy orange with good head and lacing. Some hoppy bitterness in finish, then some resin. Bottle from BCLS.

Pretty watery and unremarkable. Pours black with ok head and lacing. Aroma has notions of cherry but the chocolate is a bit of a stretch. Finishes watery and sour. Light palate, thin consistency. Bottle.

Bottle. orange amber, creamy off-white head. Grapepeel and pine hop notes on a medium to light tinny sweet (crystal?) malt body, light strawberry notes. Slightly stick, grassy aftertaste.

Bottle. Muddy brown beer with a light head. The aroma is oaty and mildly malty, and the flavour is quite thin with oaty yeastiness and malts. Overall quite a plain oaty flavoured beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
