Nice rose body but minimal foam. Lots of chewy red wine on the nose, red ju-jubes, musty mashed grapes. Flavour is more chewy grape, apple hints to round out sharpness. I always thought Color Me Badd got a bad rap, thirty years later I still like 'em.

On tap at Superflux, pours a hazy bright red with a small white head — that's a vibrant red. Aroma is very fruity, smelling like a rose wine, along with some red berries, and a touch of dry apple skins. Flavour follows nicely, with a complex array of notes: there's a nice funk upfront, vibrant berries, musty apple skins, and low residual sweetness. Definitely has a very Ros� wine character to it. This is excellent.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a cloudy white with almost no head. Aroma brings out plenty of tart apple skins and muffled stone fruits. Flavour is fruitier than the nose suggested, with a mix of juicy stone fruits, light tartness, and crisp apple skins. Pretty much no tannins and fairly light acidity. Well-made but nothing special.

Has a nice deep red body and some okay foam. Aroma is excellent berry, slight apple, soft barrel funk. Taste is sharp red wine and apple, grape tannins, sugary sweetness. Crisp carbonation and lingering berry skin lends a nice aftertaste. Enjoying this one, complex and fruity but still rustic and easy.

Little foam on a carbonated rosé body. Soft grape aroma on sweet apple, subdued. Flavour is bright red cabernet character, slight cheese, sharp apple to balance it out. Full and lingering tannins. Chewy and round, the grape character helps smooth out the apple acidity.

Good foam on a deep copper body with pinkish hue. Sweet muddy apple on the nose, soft pomegranate. Flavour is tart leathery apple, musty yet sweet, slight boozy finish akin to grand marnier. Really hitting a lot of good notes here.

Murky clear gold with no foam, smells of musty apple, slight butter, some chewy yeast. Flavour is muddy apple, heavy yeast notes, chewy tannins, soft butter, and lingering yeast doesn't seem to help. Not quite rustic and leaning toward messy, but still okay.

Poured from the tap. Near clear blonde with no head. Dry apple with tiniest subtle hint of funk. Seems like they may have played it safe on this batch leading to a boring cider.

Has a nice cloudy light yellow body with just a tich of foam, smells like a mimosa with some tomato in there, fresh pineapple. Flavour is clamato, soft apple, vague pineapple. Mediocre carbonation. Not what I expected, a little subdued but unique.
