Amber, bit hazy, medium head. Crackery, toasty character. Good malt complexity. Could stand some more sugars…it’s drier than I prefer in this style.

Described as bright but my pour is pretty friggin murky. Just a dull dun with not much head. Orangey American hops on the nose. Toasty malt, again some orangey hops. Yeast seems American…not sure why this is called English, really, because it’s nothing like that. On its own, it’s still flawed but has at least that decent orangey note.

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with small white head. Dry apple juice and yeast. Lacks any complexity, would not repeat.
