750 mL green bottle poured, courtesy of luttonm. Thanks for the share! A silent cork, but the carb seems fine. Pours a thick cola black with an active tan head. Soft funk, red grapes, and black cherry aroma. Flavor is dense black cherry, slight tart grape, a lingering dark fruit and malt. Very tasty beer here. Fantastic collaboration. Enjoyed this.

Dark brown. Touch of dark sugars on the nose, and sweet, syrupy palate. Very nice, drinkable but rich imperial stout.

Stewed fruits, apricots, a bit overstewed but otherwise ok. The malts are nice, support the hops well, but the hop character isn’t my thing.

Crowler. Cloudy, glowing orange with a bubbly head. Nose or grapes, oranges, strawberries, pine, biscuit, minerals, grapefruit. Big flavors, finishes nicely dry. Good one. Not too heavy or sticky at all.

Tasting at Matt’s; 11.1% ABV
Brown color, opaque. Medium maltiness, some caramel, lighter nut presence; medium sweetness. Nice beer, doesn’t taste much like a Barley Wine though, more toasty and less malty than expected.

Bottle - Nice sweet caramel notes. Clear Amber with a small white head. Sweet caramel malts, some toffee and light bitter notes. Decent now, but would likely be better with a year on it.

Hazy and a medium amber colour. Thin head. This has a boozier, sweeter aroma. Sweet start, bit boozy and thin. Has a touch of caramel. Actually a light body for the style, and that’s probably got to do with the booziness. Ok, needs something.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out floral notes, toasted caramel, bready malt and light brown sugar. Flavour is very boozy and hot, with lots of floral notes, bready malt, toasted caramel and phenols. Very hot and floral. Could use some tempering, even though this is bordering on a year old. Solid, but underwhelming.

22 oz. bottle, pours a deep dark red with a small beige head. Aroma is extremely fruity, with lots of spicy rye, red fruits, and earthiness. Flavour is bold and well-balanced, with earthy, spicy notes, a thick bready caramel malt base, and red fruits. Bold and wonderfully balanced. Excellent.
