16 oz. can, pours a cloudy opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, some juicy stone fruits, and subdued biscuity malt. Flavour is quite piney in the hop department, with some pithy notes and a dry finish. Pithy and piney finish. Excellent.

Can - Tropical fruits and citrus. Murky orange with a small white head. Boozy orange with some mango and a creamy finish.

16 oz. can, pours an opaque cloudy peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very yeasty, with lots of booze, phenols and subdued hops. Flavour is juicy, yeasty, and boozy, with tons of sludgy yeast, alcohol, stone fruits and resinous hops. Finishes boozy and yeasty, with plenty of pulpy juice and stone fruity hops. Rather messy and harsh. Not a well-calibrated beer - disappointing for Three Magnets.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is chocolate forward with some medium roast notes. Fairly strong amount of alcohol spice with some medium bourbon and light oak notes. Quite a bit of anise and some notes similar to soy sauce. Pours black with a medium large, moderately thick, dark mocha head that recedes somewhat quickly to the edges where it lingers as a thin film for quite some time. No lacing and moderately long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with nice chocolate notes and some medium light roast. Some medium light leather and tobacco notes. Light anise and a bit of a soy sauce note. Moderate bourbon note with some light oak,. Medium light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium to medium full bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice stout, but definitely not my favorite. A bit too much oxidation notes and the mouthfeel is too thin and overcarbed.

Bomber from Tavour. Nose is vanilla, roast, chocolate, and coffee. Black with a big lightly lacing cinnamon tan head. Flavor is lightly sweet with contrasting bitterness and lots of vanilla and chocolate

Can, E Station. Well it looks like mud, vaguely amber, without much head. Nose has a piney note, touch of galaxy, bit more yeast than you’d think. Alcohol is a bit prominent. Yeasty. The hops are not particularly bright...they were better on the nose. So unfortunately it ends up as a muddled, unbalanced mess.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a medium light brown head. A big vanilla and roast nose. Sugary vanilla, toffee, caramel, light roast. Pretty smooth. Solid brew.

Dark brown. Thin head. The aroma is toasty, with a toasty note. This is pretty thin, without a whole lot of character. I get a bit of the roast stout elements, at best a touch of vanilla. This is a bit too thin for me...needs sugar.

22 oz. bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light cocoa, sweet malt, and a touch of almonds. Flavour is very boozy, with lots of almonds, alcohol and a touch of cocoa. Too hot and messy, with a strange almond character on the finish. Underwhelming.

Amber, has a touch of haze. On the nose, the coffee is restrained, lending nuance to an earthy, slightly grapefruity hop note. Bitter, with a coffee cherry taste, touch of roast, I’m not sure how the coffee fits in with the IPA, but individually the elements aren’t bad.
