Draught at Elizabeth Station, Bellingham
Cloudy golden color. The aroma is resiny, hoppy, but also earthy. Good mouthfeel, strong without being heavy, grainy malts flavor, resiny hopping with some citrus peel and earthy character.
Good beer, no the best example of IIPA though.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out heaps of resinous hops and sweet caramel malts. Flavour is along the same lines, with sweet caramel malts and resinous hops. A little over-malted for my taste, but well-balanced in general. Very good.

Draft - Pithy and citrus peel. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Bitter and really pithy with huge citrus notes. A bit over the top.

On tap at Elizabeth Station, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out lots of oats, some dry cocoa and some phenols. Flavour is robust, with hearty oats and chocolate characterizing this. Big body, with light residual sweetness that is well-placed. Very nice.

22 oz bottle split at Matt’s. Pours a dense penny copper with a complicated foam head. Aroma is straw heavy, with a floral and citrus combined hop profile, but less up front than expected. This tastes like an IPL to me. Pilsner malt like backbone, with some moderate bitter hops covering. Pretty dry finish. Drinks nice as an overall, though not what I would expect from a citra wet hop. A change from the typical is fine though. Pretty good.

Cloudy tan with a medium head. Aroma is banana, mango, citrus and pine...just a mlange of hops. This has mandarin orange, toronja, pale malts, quite yeasty. Good IPA, high end hop brightness.
