Tulip at the brewery - light, refreshing, mildly tart saison, with a very mellow funkiness and subtle grape fruitiness - pours a clear copper - finishes with light spice and mild bitterness - subtle and crushable.

Tulip at the brewery - lightly hazy gold - crisp and medium sweet, with some honey and melon up front, followed by some spicy phenols and gum and banana esters - finish remains spicy - a fair rendition, but is more estery than I typically like my saisons.

Draft. Hazy yellow body with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange, coriander, light mustiness, light clove. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Thin to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Just enough Belgian characteristics (albeit all light in the flavor) to let you know it's a Belgian ale. Taste of citrus, clove, light funk. OK, especially for a 3.5% beer.
