Draft. Golden body with a short, white head. Aroma of citrus, orange, light pine and resin, caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Taste of raw, leafy hops, with a bit of a pine/resin aftertaste. Rough around the edges.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty coffee chocolate aroma. Roasted malty woody chocolate and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate and coffee finish.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), Colorado Tap Takeover. Oro pallido, schiuma bianca media. Al naso sentori fruttati ,esteri, leggero citrico ed erba tagliata, lieviti. In bocca è bilanciata, molto gradevole, dall'attacco dolce e finale amaro moderato. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Pulita e ben fatta, ma forse un po' timida.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), Colorado Tap Takeover. Bruna, intensa, schiuma color bianco sporco, non molto abbondante e poco persistente. Al naso sentori di caramella d'orzo, toffee, latte bollito, frutta matura, ossidazione. In bocca è dolce, caramello (zucchero di canna), con finale amarognolo, ossidazione. Corpo medio, carbonazione leggera. Inizialmente discreta, poi alla lunga stufa.

On tap @Brasserie 4:20 (Rome), Colorado Tap Takeover. Dorata chiara, limpida, schiuma bianca non abbondantissima. Al naso sentori di frutta tropicale, pesca, leggero erbaceo. In bocca è ben equilibrata, ma si sente un po' troppo l'elevata gradazione alcolica, compromettendo la beva. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Non in forma smagliante, ma comunque un bel prodotto.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours oily, deep black with s lasting, creamy beige head. Tons of burnt wood in the nose, ash, dried dark berries, baking cocoa. Medium sweet flavour with a hefty booze kick, lots of jammy, leathery dark berries, some bitter chocolate, ashy roast. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, with more jammy berries, more ashy roast and bittersweet baking cocoa. Pretty sturdy gear. Hefty.

Keg at the brewery tap. Pours oily black with a creamy beige head. The aroma holds a lot of ashy roast, some rubber, baking cocoa, scorched earth. Medium sweet flavour with more ashy roast, strong burnt wood bitterness, more scorched earth, dried berries, burnt marshmallows. Full bodied, oily and chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish, with lots of bittersweet baking cocoa, hearty ash. Robust impy.
