Straight from the bottle. Another disappointing offering from the region, dusty old grain sweetness with no balance or rounding bitterness

Aroma of malt, caramel, dried fruits, bread, chocolate notes. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a light to moderate bitter finish. I’m not generally a fan of Bocks, but every once in a while I stumble upon a good one.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, yellow-ish, faint golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, snow white head. Sweet-ish, grainy, malty aroma with a touch of mushy peas, cereals. Taste is grainy, strawy, pale malty, minimally bitter hoppy, slightly papery, strange hints of mushy peas again, some cardboard.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
A bit weird, almost veggie, no Pils character in any sense - barely enjoyable.

Bottle 0,50ltr: Dark brown Bock, but if you don’t know, you thinks this brew came from Belgium. Its got some caramel, nutty taste.

Gold with a thin, frothy, white head. Gentle, honey aroma. Taste is mildly tart, sweet. Body to the light side of medium, moderate to mild carbonation. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Feels like it’s beginning to go off despite a production date 2 months ago.

Bottle. Slow gusher. Pale blond with massive foaming head. Aroma has a touch of wood but also boiled vegetables. Has a light sharpness in the realm of orange juice. There is a woody dryness in the finish but overall clearly some major problems with this one.

33cl bottle. Clear golden beer with a white lacing. Aroma of strong pale malt, honey, grains. Taste of strong grainy pale malt, honey, spicy hops, boozy finish.
